I know that no one wants to hear this. You can do everything right. You select the right performance goal. You set up everything for complete and accurate attribution. Your ad copy and creative are amazing.
But your budget impacts performance, too.
Meta needs about 50 goal events per week per ad set to properly optimize.
It’s not that it’s impossible to get good results without exiting the learning phase, but optimal results are found when you can.
You need volume of results to help the algorithm learn. It can better adjust by seeing what works and what doesn’t. The lack of volume makes it more difficult to make those adjustments.
Because of this, you may feel forced to optimize for upper funnel actions. And that often leads to low-quality and misleading results.
Not everyone can spend thousands of dollars per day in ads, but those who can are at an advantage.
That’s just how it is.
Know that this matters. Understand how it impacts your results. Prefer the lower-funnel action when you can get it. And spend more when it’s possible.
