Set Up Conversions API with Zaraz

I’ve been experimenting with a way to set up the Conversions API that has a lot of potential.

I use Cloudflare to handle caching of my website. Within that tool is something called Zaraz that allows you to set up Meta’s Conversions API.

What got my attention is the triggers. If you create custom events with Google Tag Manager like I do, you’ll be very happy to find much of the same functionality here.

For example, Zaraz has scroll depth and timer triggers. These allow you to create events based on how far someone scrolls on a page or based on how long they spend on a page.

This is stuff I do, so I’m super excited to see this in Zaraz. Most exciting is that I don’t need to pay anything extra to get access to this, which is kind of a big deal when it comes to the API — as services can get pricey.

I’m still experimenting with this, and one of the obstacles I’ll need to sort out is deduplication. But that’s something that’s over my pay grade and I’m getting help with it.

Do you have experience with Zaraz? What do you think?
