Why is Advantage+ CreativeWhen turned on, Advantage+ Creative can make adjustments to your ad on a per-user basis to get you the best results. Adjustments include text (swapping headline and description), image brightness, turning images into a video, applying a template, adding music for Stories, and more. More on?
You might not turn Advantage+ Creative on when you create the ad. But these standard enhancements may be happening anyway.
Here’s why…
Go to your Ad Account Settings within the Ads Manager menu. Near the bottom, you’ll see Advantage+ Creative.
“Your Advantage+ Creative settings apply across all eligible campaignsThe campaign is the foundation of your Facebook ad. This is where you'll set an advertising objective, which defines what you want your ad to achieve. More for this ad account.”
That’s right. You might have Advantage+ Create turned on across your ad account. Do you have this box checked?
While I’m not a huge fan of Advantage+ Creative, I also wouldn’t consider myself 100% against it. Even so, I would definitely recommend keeping this flexible.
Turning Advantage+ Creative on ad account-wide puts a WHOLE lot of trust in the algorithm. I’d keep it off and then turn it on for ads on a case-by-case basis.
Meta still has a lot to prove in terms of how effective this is before automatically turning it on for all ads.
What do you think? Do you keep this on?
