One of the best ways to stay on top of Ads Manager changes is through the Ads Manager Updates sidebar.
There’s one problem: IT’S GONE.
In Ads Manager, click on the Help icon on the left. Normally, you would see an option for Ads Manager updates on the right. Meta even has a Help article that says to do exactly this.
Luckily, there’s a hack to get these updates back. While in Ads Manager, go to the address bar. After “campaignsThe campaign is the foundation of your Facebook ad. This is where you'll set an advertising objective, which defines what you want your ad to achieve. More?”, remove everything else and paste the following:
launch_help_tray=RELEASE_NOTES
Hit enter, and you should see the Ads Manager updates on the right.
I have no idea if this is intentional or a coding bug that made Ads Manager Updates temporarily unavailable. I can’t find this any other way at the moment, so hopefully Meta’s not planning to remove it.
It’s a relatively simple hack, but obviously not ideal. I just keep a tab open to Ads Manager with that release notes help tray on the right.
