How it Works
Some advertisers are reporting seeing a new option for the Facebook Notifications placement.

Your ads could appear within a user’s notifications feed. What’s especially unique about this placement is that images or videos aren’t required. It only uses your profile photo, ad headline, and link.
When I created an ad, the Facebook Notifications placement is available in the Advanced Preview. I was able to confirm that Meta pulls my profile image. Here’s how it appeared…

Will it Work?
It’s an interesting option. It will surely be seen as an annoyance to users, but it will also be more difficult to ignore. While you aren’t likely to get many impressions from this placement, I’m curious about how effective it may be.
