AI is coming to ChatGPT ads…
When creating a ChatGPT ads campaign, some advertisers are seeing this new toggle: Text Customization.
Let’s take a closer look…
What Is It?
It’s on by default, and it reads:
AI automatically generates personalized and translated versions of your ad’s headlines and descriptions, which may be shown without your individual review or approval.
It’s interesting that OpenAI is making AI enhancements a priority for their beta ads product. Similar enhancements are the target of the most common complaints from Meta advertisers. But if you hoped to escape this with ChatGPT ads, you’d be mistaken.
How Does It Work?
What’s crazy is how mysterious OpenAI makes this. What would personalized versions of headlines and descriptions look like? We won’t know because there aren’t any more details or previews. And you won’t have the opportunity to review and approve those changes ahead of time.
Of course, you can just globally turn these off for now, but you’ll need to do it with each campaign.
