This has been a crazy week for me!
Last weekend, my middle son sustained a baseball injury that required 10 stitches. I open this week’s episode a bit philosophically, comparing his overcoming adversity — and the importance of obstacles in our lives — to that of a business owner. The little guy makes me so proud and emotional, I had to pause to regain my composure!
So I used the first five minutes a little differently this week. But I then extended the episode a little so that I could answer three of your questions.
This week is also crazy because I’ve been preparing for my first webinar. The topic is Advanced Facebook Insights, and if you haven’t signed up for it already, there are a few spots remaining in the late session. I’m a little anxious, nervous and excited to get going!

“I’ve read that FB may have quietly changed cover photo rules to allow for certain calls to actionA call-to-action is a button or link on your ad that suggests the action you want your audience to take. Examples: "Learn More" or "Sign Up." More, while still disallowing contact info and ‘like’ text. I’m wary of making changes just yet. What’s your take?”

“I find that unless I am advertising, using promoted posts or giving something away my page engagement drops significantly, is there another way to lift engagement without always dipping into my pocket?”

“Is Facebook going to work for a business that a)isn’t a brand and b) doesn’t want to pay to advertise ‘anything'”
