    Cool video and I love your enthusiasm! Almost makes me excited about Facebook ads. :) I would love to know how you added that Subscribe button at the end of your videos (and other clickable image areas) as I am trying to do the same with mine. Are those just annotations with images? Thanks!

    Jon am I right on a couple of things
    1. (Not related to this video) – that you can no longer target your competitors pages through the standard audience builder interface (in Power Editor or otherwise)
    2. That in this video you mentioned Graph Search is essentially a new way to do this?

      1. Not really correct. Facebook has merged some of the interest targeting, so it is broader in some cases. But I can tell you that I’m still able to target the pages I’ve always targeted.

      2. No, this is just a way to find the relevant pages to target.

    The fact that there are still companies offering low cost likes is unbelievable, but I guess that only means there are still Pages buying those likes.

      Click on the Custom Audiences option. Facebook has changed to flow (I am working on an edit since it’s a pretty major overhaul).

          It’s a rollout, Jesse. You don’t have it yet, but it’s a good sign you have the Mobile App Custom Audiences.

    Hey Jon! I’m new here and am really enjoying your content. Have a question about “like-gated” tabs. Would these tabs be included in Page Post ads or Like Ads? I noticed in the “Like Ad”, the user can click “like” but they are not directed to my landing page. However, if they click on the picture in the “like” ad, they are.

    If my goal is to give them something for “liking” my page, would it make more sense to use the “like-gated” custom tab in a page post where I can place the custom tab link directly? Thanks!

    Hi Jon! Fantastic blog. I agree on everything that you said! In
    addition. I personally like the CPA bid method because you can decide what’s
    the maximum amount you want to pay for a fan. For me this works great on
    campaigns. Key is to keep your target group as big as possible (while making it
    specific) and time. The Facebook Ad system needs time to find the right people.
    In the end it will save you a lot of money and gives you more fans for your
    dollar & euro

    I find it hard to justify advertising for fans now. Possibly, early on to build some social proof but I feel now my budget is better spent on other objectives – mostly lead gen and direct sale. And since I’m mostly using promoted posts targeting interests or lookalikes there’s an added bonus of also getting new fans in the process.
