Big Break for Small Business: Where is My Coupon Code?

AMEX Facebook big break for small business 300x300 Big Break for Small Business: Where is My Coupon Code? Back in June I wrote about a promotion called Big Break for Small Business that was put on by American Express and Facebook. It was a contest with a grand prize of $25,000 going to 10 different small businesses.

But the nice consolation prize was a free $100 Facebook advertising coupon code for anyone who participated. It was something of a clumsy process, but I’m willing to jump through hoops for free advertising.

The promotion also indicated that they would be sending out Facebook coupon codes by the end of July. So I waited… and waited… and waited.

Nothing.

I know I’m not the only one. So finally, I reached out to @AskAmex on Twitter and received the following response:

Hey Jon! To clarify, the coupon codes have not been sent out yet, slight delay on our end. They will be sent out next week. Sorry for delay

So, there you go. An explanation. Apparently, no one has received their codes yet, but we should be getting them sometime during the week of August 6-12.
