light bulb 71 239x300 Shedding Light on Social Media (Feb. 24 Mar. 1)

I love reading and learning from others, and I don’t want to keep what I learn to myself. Every Friday, I’ll share with you the most illuminating posts I’ve read on Facebook marketing, using Facebook, blogging and SEO, and anything else that doesn’t fit within those categories.

Not surprisingly, there’s plenty of news about Facebook Timeline for Pages. That said, I found much of it was repetitive, so much of it isn’t listed below (also make sure to read my series of Facebook Timeline for Pages tutorials).

As always, please provide your feedback in the comments below so that I can continue to make this feature as valuable as possible. What do you like? Is it too many links? Need more context? Want it focused on a single topic? Let me know!

Otherwise… Enjoy!

Thanks for the mention, Jon. As usual this is my first stop in getting my week’s reading done, so thank you for the legwork. It’s amazing how much activity there is out there, but I guess that’s what happens when you decide to embark on a career in the hottest field in the industry!

Also, I was at your hr.com webinar  yesterday and you’ve convinced me to give Facebook ads a try. I’ve always been hesitant to use ads but I see the merit in using such a targeted one as Facebook. Great tips too!

    Have a great weekend, Jon!

Thanks so much, Justine! I glanced through the attendee list in the beginning, but I never got to check again to see who made it. So glad you were able to call in! I’m happy to hear it went okay — I felt like it went about as well as it could go.

If you need any help on the ads, definitely let me know. It’s not hard! If I can do it, you can do it.

The research is definitely time consuming, so I’m glad this helps you. And since this week was so busy, I actually had to do a lot of catch-up to put this piece together last night. I tend to star everything I want to read in Google Reader, then eventually get there.

      Thanks again!

Hey Jon, I apologize I initially missed this trackback when it came in. Thanks so much for the kind inclusion and mentions!

Don’t apologize, Kim! Keep writing the good stuff, and I’ll keep linking to it.

      Thanks for stopping by!
